Nature-inspired stories for curious young readers.
I’m Sterling C. Drake, a children’s author, embedded software engineer, and lifelong observer of the natural world. I grew up birdwatching in Wisconsin, and those early experiences sparked a curiosity about wildlife that continues to inspire my writing today.
When I’m not writing or engineering, I enjoy 3D printing, fishing, sports, and spending time outdoors. Nature has always been an important part of my life, and it provides the setting and inspiration for many of the stories I am currently working on.
I hope my stories entertain young readers, encourage their curiosity about nature, and help them believe in what they can accomplish.
